Angelic
RayKey - Sexual Issues
Traditional Reiki teaches almost nothing about sex and the practitioner. There are some master exercises passed down which seem to come from Kundalini Yoga or Tantric Yoga, but they give no guidance whatsoever on sexual practices or preferences.
Angelic RayKey is a discipline for the 21st Century. As such it must either face these issues or take the stance that it does not control or affect practitioners in any way.
Celibacy This has been the province of the priestly class in many ancient traditions and religions. The Catholic church is a perfect example of celibacy which is a metaphor for being married to the church. Neither traditional Reiki nor Angelic RayKey require practitioners or teachers to be celibate. If a practitioner chooses either temporary celibacy or to make it a lifestyle of choice, that is up to the practitioner. In any case, it is not the business of anyone else.
Homosexuality The same can be said for homosexuality, it is the choice of the practitioner, and is not the business of anyone else. Since this issue is far more controversial than celibacy, it is best for the gay practitioners to keep their choices to themselves. Sometimes being homosexual becomes a political issue. As with all political issues, this can interfere in the seriousness of the healing disciplines.
The bottom line is that sexuality, and all of the emotional and political issues that go with it, are the province of each individual healer. It should be kept discrete and separate from healing or teaching.
