ARKAngelic RayKey Compared With ReikiARK

Traditional Reiki originated in Japan about one hundred years ago when a man named Mikao Usui is supposed to have rediscovered some sacred symbols after a long spiritual journey and years of scholarly research. Much of his story has turned out to be myth and unsubstantiated, while others have gone to the trouble of travelling to Japan to visit Usui Sensei's grave (see article at reiki.org). Furthermore, the supposed Tibetan symbols turn out to be Kanji Japanese letters. So exactly what is Reiki and what is its value?

Reiki is a belief system based on the movement of auric energy assisted by meditation techniques on the part of the healer. Further training includes the use of symbols purported to have energy in and of themselves. In actual practice, the symbols act as focal points for the Reiki practitioner to concentrate further, thus enabling the healer to send healing energy to someone who is not present in the room. Finally, Reiki is a life discipline involving personal meditation, precepts for living a pure life, and a humble attitude toward life and reverence for all other living beings.

How is Angelic RayKey different from Reiki?

There are many more subtle differences between the two disciplines. Both are valid forms of spiritual healing. If you are a Reiki practitioner and healer and would like to add Angelic RayKey to your set of healing tools, contact us for information on interning.
